Frank Isaacson, aged 17, has been ssnt to a reformatory' for three years l'or stealing some jewellery valued at over .£3OOO, the property of Messrs. Harris, Scarfe, and Company, his employers. The Judge, in commenting on tho case, said it was a painful one. The lad hail been brought up in a respectable family, but had come to town with most unfortunate results. When attempting to Temovo a hundred pounds' worth of 'articles he was caught, but tried to deceive the detective by stating that an accomplice was waiting outside. This was untrue. Thero were no extenuating features in the case except the absence of parental control.
