Madame Kirkby Lunn. . It was an exceedingly enthusiastic audience that was assembled in the Town Hall last evening at the concert given by Madame Kirkby Lunn and her concert party, and it will be a long time, one would imagine, before they forgot the great- pleasure given by her wonderful voice and artistry. Again and again she was -recalled, and the great singer wasmost generous with her responses. It was difficult not to be greedy, because such opportunities are sp seldom given us. Very dignified and gracious, Madame held her audience spellbound till the last note had been sung, and then came a storm of apnlause.. It was a beautiful gown that she was wearing, of a deep golden satin, with a draped tunic worked with steel embroideries, the sauare-cut bodice being relieved in front with white, covered with more embroidery. A soft golden band of the same shade as her gown was Korn on her hair.
