' Customs duties collected in the port of Wanganui last month amounted to .£7140 4s. lid., of which preferential tarifl contributed .£232 16s. 7d. The total for the same month' last year.was £921 more, and preferential tariff was-.£47 more. •' The vital statistics for November axe:-« Births, 54 (58 previous November); deaths, 20 (16); marriages, 22 (16).
