Splendid wsatlicr prevailed for the cricket matches yesterday, but the grounds, were somewhat .heavy as the result, of recent rain. Playing against Opoho, Dunedin made 75 and 22 for Opoho responding with 48. For Opoho,. EckhotE took seven wickets for 12 runs, and,.for Dunedin, Torranco took five for 10. Albion made 101 against Carisbrook A, and the latter, put on 117 for two wickets (Hopkins 59, not out, Siedeberg 44). Carisbrook B made 58 against Grange, Downes taking four wickets for 20 .runs. Grange, responded with 79. In the second innings, Carisbrook lost five wickets for 13. In bowling, Downes took three wickets for 5 runs, and M'laughlin two for 4. •• ..
