MR. POYNTON'S HEALTH.
_$ THE MINISTER'S STATEMENT. (By ToleeraDh.—Press Association.) ' ' Dunedin, December 2. Eegafdingf the reported resignation of the Secretary to the Treasury, the Minister for Finance said:—Mr. Poynton has been very ill; there can be no question about that, and he has been medically examined. I don't think he can continue the hard work he has been given in the office. The seclusion of office is not suited to him. It is quite possible there may be a change.
