Albert Bowes, a chauffeur, fired three times at Sir Edward Henry, Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, outside the letter's Kensington residence. After the third shot, Sir Edward Henry slammed the door in his assailant's face, and his chauffeur seized tho revolver md throw Bowes to the ground. Sir Edward Henry'B wound is not dangerous.
