. Mr. Geo. Winder presided over the annual meeting of the To Aro Sailing Club, held on Tuesday evening. The election of officers for the ensuing season resulted as follow:—Patron,' Mr. Geo. Winder; commodore, Mr. E. J. Ward; vice-commodores, Messrs. F. Cook and R. B. Grange and Captain Post; rear-com-modore, Mr. A. N. Jordon; lion, score-' ta'ry, Mr. L. MacGregor; measurer, Mr. T. Bailey; auditor, Mr. Win. Rololf; starter, handicapper, and judge, Mr. R. R. MacGregor.; committee, Messrs. Ticbie, O'Ncil, Mason, Freyberg, Hamil, Little, and W. Wilton.
