SLAUGHTERMEN.
TWO MORE REGISTRATIONS CAN-' CELLED. No communication was made yesterday by the. Slaughtermen's Union to the companies affected in Wellington concerning the new proposals for higher wages, ana different conditions of employment for the season 1912-13. Two more applications for cancellation of registration were made—that of the New Zealand Federated Slaughtermen's Industrial Association of Workers, and of the Southland Slaughtermen's Union.' This leaves only the Auckland and the Canterbury Unions not accounted for, and the Auckland Union is a small one. The cancellation of the four unions, Wellington, Otago, Southland, and Poverty Bay, and of the federation will be complete at the expiry of the stipulated term of six weeks.
