SUPERANNUATION.

FOR HARBOUR BOARD MEN. At the, meeting of the Wellington Harbour Board last night the chairman (Mr. R. Fletcher) moved the resolution dealing with superannuation for employees of the board. (This resolution was published in The Dominion a few days ago.) Mr. P. C. Freeth seconded the motion. Mr. M. Cohen said, in his opinion, the scheme was based on an entirely wrong principle. The chairman: The contribution of the board will be from .£3OOO to .£4OOO, if all the employees join. Tlie motion, on being put to the board, was carried by nine votes to five. The following was" the voting:— Ayes: Messrs. Cobbe, Fitzgerald, Fletcher, Freeth. Hildreth, Hindmarsh, Jones, M'Ewen, and Renner. Noes: Messrs. Cohen, Daniell, Harkness, MacFarlane, and Trevor.
