FOOTPRINTS ON THE SAND.
A PREHISTORIC PEDESTRIAN. By Telegraph—Press Association—OopyriuM Melbourne, November 25. Scientists are investigating the discovery of supposed prehistoric human footprints in a quarry at Warrnambool. Thoy are claimed to be 20,000 years old. Professor Skeats, Professor of Geology and Mineralogy in the University of Melbourne, is of opinion that they are of much more recent date.
