THE OCTOBER SHIPMENTS. Tho exports of stock from New Zealand during October were: 383 sheep, 46 horses, 25 head of cattle,' and 15 pigs; Of tho horses, '28 went to Australia and-18 to •Fiji, 11 head of cattle went to the PacN fic Islands, and 11 'to Australia, 362 sheep .to the Pacific Islands, and 1 to the Argentine, whilst all tho pigs went to- the Pacific Islands. Of the horses shipped, 8 were draught mares, 7 draught- geldings, 1 light draught stallion, 2 light, draught geldings, 3 hack geldings, 11 hack mares, 4 pony stallions, 2 pony mares; 5 pony geldings, 1 hackney gelding, 1 thorough-' bred mare, -and 1 thoroughbred 'gelding.
