The Hastings - Bowling Club met the representatives of the Napier Club in the first round of the Hawke's Bay shield competitions. The local men won three out of four games. The local club, which now has a very large membership, is considering the question of obtaining new grounds. , . SOUTH ISLAND BOWLERS. (By Telegraph.-Press Association.) Palmerston North, November 21. The South Island bowlers played here to-day, and defeated the local club comfortably.
