ODDFELLOWSHIP.
The usual fortnightly, meeting of the Loyal Heart of Oak Lodge, 1.0.0. F., M.U., was hold in the Foresters' Hall, Carterton, on Wednesday evening. Bro. H. A. Back, G.M., presided. The nomination of officers for the ensuing six months were received as follow:-N.G., Bro. W.-J. Churchill; V.G., Bros. J. Wallace and J. S. Bairstow. Two notices of motion were tabled to lie discussed at tho next' quarterly summoned meeting:--(l) "That an Advertising Committee bo set up to deal with matters ynnected with the lodge." (2) "That the night of meeting be altered from Wednesday to -every alternate Tuesday night." Next lodge night n discussion will take place upon how best to deal with the LodgeVsiirplus. It is hoped that a full muster of members will be present. The lecture master gave notice' of a lecture n«xt Lodge night. One candidate was proposed for membership.
