. f~ POLICE SCATTER A CROWD. (By Telegraph.-Press Association.) Auckland, November 20. After the meeting in the Town Hall last night some fifty young men, mostly old college boys, supporters of the Reform party, vera subjected to insulting langunge from n rough crowd, and scornfully referred to as "oollego pups.". They banded together and marched down Queen Street. Some irresponsible youths followed, using theif fists freely. One lad was almost stunned by a blow on tho back of tho head. Tho police then intervened. Subsequently, ten. members of the youthful Reform party were attacked near the wharf. Blows were interchanged till the polioo interfered and scattered the crowd.
