ESPIONAGE CHARGE.

NAVAL GUNNER ARRESTED. ' By Telegraph-Prose Association-Copyright London, November 18. . George Charles, Parrott, a dismissed gunner, recently attached to the warship' Pembroke, has been before the Westminster Police Court on a charge of espionage and remanded. Evidence was given to the effect that he was'shadowed in July last owing to correspondence and telegrams 6ent to him by a foreigner at Ostend. Ho was arrested when fetching a letter from a tobacconist's shop in Chelsea. The letter contained ten pounds and travelling expenses. The sender of the letter begged Parrott to inquire as to tho movements of: the fleet.
