Mr. Newton King's weekly report states:—At Stratford, on Tuesday, November 12, I had a very heavy entry of all' classes, about 15C0 and a good attendance of the public. Pivo very good pens of 3 to 4-year bullocks, in forward condition, were yarded, and attracted considerable attention. These were-all cleared during the day at £7 ss. Yearling ljeifers and steers were penned in very big numbers, but were not inquired for, very few being cleared. Competition for empty heifers and good cows was very keen; a big number of bulls were yarded, those available for dairy purposes realised from £4 2s. 6d. to £6 ss„ the balance being bought for the works at prices ranging according to weight from £2 15s. to £5 17s. 6d. Several lines of 2i and 3-year 6teers wore disposed of at from £5 14s. to £5 17s. 6d.; 2-year ■ steers, £4 145.; other prices realised wore:—Jersey 15-months heifers. £4 Is. to £4 125.; grades, £2 19s. to. £3 16a.; .small, £2 Us. to £2 145.: 15-months steers, from £3 Is. to £3 6s. and £3 13s. for a few big Shorthorns; small fat cows, £6; empty 2-year Jersey-Holstoin heifers, £5 4s. to £5 9s. "6d.; and for mixed grades, from £4 2s. 6d. to £4 155.;. cows, forward. £4 12s. to £5 65.; good stores, £3 9s. to £4 55.; aged or small, £1 17s. to £2 15s. In the dairy yards best springing heifers realised from £6 12s. 6d. to £8,10s.; others, small or poor, from £4 10s( to £5 155.; springing cows, from £8 to £9 12a. 6d.; a#ed, £5 to £6 12s. 6d. At Stony Eiver on Wednesday I had a fair entry of cattle and a good numbers of buyers, who bought,pract-cally everything, in the yards at tho following rates:—ls-months Jersey-Holsteln heifers, from £4 2s. 6d. to £4 155.; sm'aHcr, £3 12s. 6d. to £3 195.; grades. £2 14s. to £3 7s. 6d.; 15-months steers, £2 19s. 6d. to £3 !te.; dairy bulls, £5 2s. 6d. to £7 2s. 6d. ; others, from £1 2s. 6d. to £4 7a; 2-year steers. £4 Bs. 6d. and £4 95.; cmnty 2-year Holstein heifers, £6; grades.' £4 4e. 6d. to £4 10s.; fat oows. £6 is.; aged store cows, £2 2s. 6d. to £2 10s.: good stores, £3 17s. to £4 155.: empty Holstein cows, £5 65.; snrinEing heifers, best, up-to £5.165.; small, £4 to £5slip pigs (for breeding), £1 7s. to £1 175.; others, 14s. to £1 Is. \
