LYALL BAY TRAGEDY.
V. A. PYNE'S DEATH. On Saturday Dr. M'Arthur, S.M., held on inquiry into the death of Valentine Alfred Pyne, who was found Lyall Bay on Thursday suffering from poisoning and a wound in the neck. Maximilian Feiss, a brother-in-law of deceased, stated that Pyno had been very much interested in wireless telegraphy, and that of la.to be had become strange, and had had delusions, and feared arrest for "intercepting wireless messages." • Th« ooroner found that death was ffne to shock, following on peritonitis, caused by the swallowing of some fluid, probably sulphuric acid.
