REEFTON MINING DISPUTE.
I MEN DECIDE TO START WOEK AGAIN. (By Telegraph—Press Association,) Reefton, November 17; The "ballot on the agreement referred to (Jhe members of the Inangahua Miners' Union resulted in an overwhelming majority (258 to 103) in favour of ratifying the agreement Only two places were against the agreement, Big River and Waiuta. A good deal of opposition against the agreement was overcome at .the end of the week. The Consolidated miners havo been getting ready to start work all the week, aha it is expected that this coming week will 6ee ft general resumption.. Men are already, flocking back to work from all around, and, the general feeling is very hopeful.. ' Heefto'n has 'stood- "thf six ■ months' trouble, starting May 18 and ending November 16, mudh better than was expected, but. latterly.the strain.has been very' heavy indeed. The General feeling amongst the men is that they are glad to get back to' work, and are sick and tired of the trouble. .
