(By Telegraph.—Press Association,) Christchurcli, November li. The criminal sessions of the !3iipreme Court concluded to-day. ' James •■'Madder,' On, two charges of assault.causing actual bodily harm, was sentenced, to three years on each, sentences to be concurrent.' I Ernest Hy, Bighton was found.not guilty on a charge of unlawful carnal knowledge. Thomas Francis Hickej*, similarly charged, was «Iso found aot guilty..,. ; .Lto .AttMr Arnold Copeland. Boranoff, oS",'(;wii joharces ■of theft, was sentenced to eighteen montfls, sentences .to be concurrent. Mabel Mona Parker (alleged perjury)--was too ill to appear, and-was ordered.to come up for sentence when called on.
