Wedding at Petone. At tho Church of- the Sacred-Heart, Petone, on Monday, MisS Marie Lucy Ford, only daughter of Mrs. J. Ford, of Queen Street, was married to Mr. Edward H,. Cunliffb, second son of Mr. mid Mrs. B. S. Cunlifre, of Richmond Street. The officiating clergyman. Woe the Rev. Father Long. The bride, who' was given away- by lior brother (Mr; S. Ford), Wore a pretty gown of cream rndiante with, s&tin facings, trimmed with lace end insertion. Sho also wore a bridal wreath: dud veil, and curried a shower .bouquet of cream azaleas, roses and asparagus fern. The bridesmaid was Jliss Lilian Cun« liffo (sister of tho bridegroom), who wore a tussore silk dress with elaborate guipure trimmings, and a black and white picture hat .trimmed with ostrich feathers. Sho carried a bouquet of pink azaleas, roses, and asparagus fern. .Mr. W. Miller was best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride's parents, where a largo number of.. guests were entertained. Wedding at Takaka. At Takaka the marriage took place of Miss Mina M'Lean, of Papakura, Auckland, 'and Captain Bofnett. Tho bi'ido wore a gown of cream French 6ilk Valencia with coatee of guipure kee and square train lined with china blue satini a long tullo veil, caught in with cluster? of orange blossoms was worn over ft Juliet cap and she a shower, bouquet of white flowers. : Miss Msbel Pusji, wearing turquoise blue silk poplin ,and hat to match, was her bridesmaid,, aijd; little Miss Ella Haase and Master Freddie Haaso were, flower girl and page respectively.
