Cathie), .and Councillors Hil'drethi Bradnock, Hamilton, Statideii, Horn, Burn, Anderson, and Ninmio, A letter was received from the City, Council in'reference to a request that the.' 7.15 nncl■ 7.}7 a.m. cars for Cpurtenay: Place and lvarori_ respectively be started' five minutes earlier. • Tho City. Council regretted that owing to the city requirements, the request could not,bo granted. Ths Works and Recreation' Ground Com" mittes recommended that the tender of. Mr.. 11.I 1 . Spiers "for forage be accepted; that" the tea rooms be leased by tender [ from December 1; and that the Motor Cycle Association be permitted to lease Nos. i and 5 grounds at a rental of .£! for the purpose of holding their gymkhana on November 23 or'3o. , Tho committee further recommended that oirinff W paltry thefts and. othernets of' vandalism oecuring in tho park,' two or' throe notice boards- offering a : reward, to. persons, giving. information as to ! the offenders' in' this respect be erected.
