- T ——s On Friday, Novernber 22, tie settlers of Carrington and West Taratahi intend to commemorate the installation of their new telephone system hy means of a. social gathering, Mr. W. C. Buchanan, M.P., the Postmaster-General, and the Primo Minister nre to be invited to attend. A flat road rac» is being arranged by tha committee of St. Mary's bazaar, to take place between Carterton and Greytown, pn Thnrsdiiy, December 12. A Bilyer cup forms the first prize.
