(By AFsociatibn) Auckland, November 3. , Work continues at Huntly as u.Sual, The Huntly Coal Mino Employees' Industrial Union has been registered under the' Arbitration Act, ninety-three men having already joined. One rule in the cpnstifu-: tion of the union makes it obligatory upon the union officials, when calling strikesj and when disposing: of the funds o.f the union, to take a. Secret ballet. No . strike can be called without the consent of two-thirds of the members of the union, , REEFTON' MATTERS. ' Reefton, November 3. A mass meeting of members of the Miners' Union was held to-day, and was largely attended. Representatives of the Union to the recent conference with the niineowners stated that matters , had gone as far as the union could go, and a certain point w'as being referred to the, Mine Owners' Association. Nothing, concerning details was divulged, and the meeting ■ adjourned till Sunday next.
