It is tlio first institution of its kind in New Zealand, and tho condition of the membership cs ad. lioronoo to tho principles of tho Reform party. The club has secured central premises in Wyndham Street, consisting of a fino suite of rooms in a big offico block. There aro reading, smoking, writing, and dining-rooms, secretarial offlccs, etc., and tlio club will bo tho homo of tha Reform party in Auckland. Members will meet at lunch daily, and country members will find tho club a very useful institution. Tho place lias been nicely furnished, and members were loud in their praises of their now quarters.
