THE CRTSTALATE CUP. ' Tho two semi-finnl games for the Crystalate Cup were played at Alcock'g Rooms, Baker's Buildings, last evening. The first (jamo between Farrell and Keys commenced at 7.30 p.m. and did not finish until after 9 p.m., and as the time (for a game of 300 up)- 1 indicates the play was on tho slow side. Farrell showed rather better form 'than his opponent, and registered breaks of 24, 22, and 20 during tho game. Key? mado no break worth chronicling. When Farrell (tho winner) ran out Keys was 2">3. Fordham and Wakem -.bowed slicker form, both playing rapidly and with very fair judgment. Wakem was the faster scorer of tho two, and played excellent billiards throughout The balls ran badly for Fordham at times. At the conclusion the scoro stood: Wakem, 300; Fordham. 2!)7. Tho winner's best break was 21, and Fordham made breaks of 22 and 20. The final between Farrell aud Wakom will be played at 8 o'clock this evening,

The Northern Boxing Association' has arranged for Mr. Bris Doyle to visit Australia, America, and England, and arrange matches with tho world's champion boxers at Auckland during the Exhibition of 1913. It is intended to erect a stadium to accommodate 5000 spectators. It is proposed to arrange six or seven fights, each for a purso of JCIOOO.

TE RUEU CLUB MEETS. Tho annual general meeting of tho To Rum Sailing Club was held in the City Hotel on Friday evening last, "Mr. 1\ luernnn presiding over an attendance of 30 members. , The report and balance-sheet (already published) was road and adopted. Tho question of making suitable-ar-rangements for an opening day, and. also the question of tho selcctio of a club badge, was left in the hands of the committee, which meets on Friday evening next. . .
It was mentioned at the meeting that Mr. T. Clarke, of Scorching Bay, offered to place his whare at the Bay at the disposal of tho club for week-end social even"Tt'was resolved that Mr. J. Firth's valuable trophy would bo given to tho most successful yacht of tho club. Tho election of officers for tho ensuing season resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr, J. ,J. Firth; president, Mr. F.
