(BefoTß Captain W. H. Hennah and C. A. Baker, J.P.'s.) - CHARGE OF FORGERY. Jack K. Rini was charged with having forged the name of Piki Tuaki to a money order telegram for .£6O, and uttering, it at the Wanganui Post Office. The accused was remanded to appear at Wanganui to-morrow. OTHER CASES. For insobriety, Violet Paton was sentenced to'one month's imprisonment; Mary Gibbons to three months, Mary Collins was fined 205., in default, seven days; and ChaTics M'Roberts 'was fined 10s. in default, 13 hours. . Mary M'Kcgnoy was sentenced to three, months' imprisonment for using obscene language. Mary Gibbons was ordered to pay 9s„ the cost of two panes of glass sho had broken... ... MOUNT COOK COURT. At the Mount Cook Police Court on Saturday, before Mr. T. S. Lambert, J.P., the following cases of insobriety were dealt with-.—A first offender, bailed out but not appearing, was fined tlio amount of his bail, 10s., or '18 hours' imprisonment. Another first offender was fined 55., or 21 hours' detention; and a third case- was admonished, convicted, and discharged.
