HAWERA SHOW.

I ' THE DOG CLASSES. The schedule for- the dog section of the Hnvcra Show is a very attractive one this year, all classes of dogs being catered for. The dog classes 'have been only two years in existence, but they are rapidly gaining prominence as a feature of tho show. Each year tho classes have been an unqualified success, with the result that the comtnitteo is. doing its utmost to mako a big display in this section. A spociosis and well-appointed building with permanent benches is provided for tho dogs. The New Zealand Kennel Club has awarded challenge classes to field spaniels (any variety) and Airedale terriers. The association has been fortunate in securing the services of a first-class, manager for the dog sections, the manager being himself a keen fancier and a breeder of some of. the best-known stock in tho colony. A competent caretaker has charge of all dogs, and exhibitors from a distance will have their stook .met at the station, if they are consigning to the secretary. The exhibits will. afterwards -be returned (o their respective owners. A qualified outside judge has been appointed as usual, •and everything points to a splendid show. Schedule's may be obtained from tho secretary (Mr. F. G. Treweek). - .
