MR. ROOSEVELT.
READY FOR THE FRAY AGAIN. By Telegraph—Press Acsociation-Copyriehk Oyster Bay (N.Y.), October 25. Mr. Roosevelt has resumed his Presidential election campaign preparations. A further scries of meetings is pending. He says he is feeling splendid, although the doctors have warned him not to overtax his strength. A SUIT FOR LTBEL. (Rcc. October 27, 5.5 p.m.) New York, October 27. Mr. Roosevelt, is suing George Ncwell, editor of a small daily paper at Ishpeming, Michigan, claiming damages for alleged libel. Newell published an article accusing Mr. Roosevelt of intemperance in language and liquor. MANY THREATENING LETTERS. (Rec. October 27, 5.5 p.m.) New York, October 26. A stranger attempted to enter Mr. Roosevelt's homo at Oyster Bay and was forcibly rejected. Mr. Roosevelt is receiving many threatening letters. A special police guard has been provided for him.
