This decision will practically prevent tho importation of frozen beef. Tho Chancellor added that it was tho duty of the Government to keep the Home meat production' independent of foreign countries even if higher prices had lib be paid for economic independence. Germans wero not making sacrifices for a protectionist policy, but wero discharging a debt to the Fatherland for their safety.
