Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their Levin stock sale held yesterday as foUows:-\Vc had very lame yardings of both sheep and cattle, every available pen being tilled, and these we submitted to a larse attendance of buyers, and made a total clearance of the sheep under the hamnier, and the majority of the cattle changed hands at satisfactory prices. We quote: Ewes with 100 per cent lambs, 19s. Bd. to 255. 9d.; forward woolly wethers, 195., 19s. 3d. to 205.; etoro wethers (small), to 10s. 9d.; hoggets,, 12s. 6d. to 14s. 5d.; shorn forward ewes to 13s. 3d.; fat shorn ewes, 13s. 3d., 155., to 15s. 3d.; fat wethers, 20s. lCd. to 235.; fat hoggetfi to 20s. 9d. Cattle: leading heifers, £2 125., £3 2s. 6d., £4, to £4 55.: yearling steers, £2 12s. to £3 10s.; springing heifers. £3 12s. to £6 7s. 6(1.; store cows,' £2 12s„ £3 135., £4 2s„ to £4 lis.; 2-year steers to £4 95.; 3-year steers, £5 IZs. 6d. to £5 195.; cows in calf, £3 IDs. to £5 155.; fat heifers to £6 65.; fat, cows to £6 ss.
3fessrs. Daigety and Co., Ltd., report as follows on their stock sale held at Levin yesterday :—Wo had a very full yarding of sheep and cattle, entries coming forward in excess of advertised numbers. Sheen were in good demand, but cattlo were easier. We were successful, however, in practically clearing all lines, and quoto tho following prices:—Ewes and- lambs, 19s.
