Cabbage is now coming to hand in large quantities and selling at something approaching glut prices. Cauliflowers are in short supply and high values rule, This week's market values are:—lsland oranges, 9s. to 12s. 6d, per case, according to condition; pines, 7s. to 10s. case; Sydney oranges, 9s. to lis. fid. case; mandarins, 14s. to 20s. .case; Queensland pineapples, ss. to 7e. 6d. case; passion fruit, 10s. to 12s. quarter-case; Sydney lemons, lis. to 14s. case; Mildura lemons, 13s. to 17s. caso; choice dessert apples (local), 9s. to lis. case; cooking sorts, 9s. to lis.; hothonso tomatoes, Is. 4d. to Is.
