A NEW HOTEL IN PICTON.

An imposing three-story brick hotel has just been completed in Picton. Tho new building, which has been erected to tho order of the late Mr. T. G. Macarthy (and is now held by the Public Trustee as executor for the Estate), occupies the site of the old Terminus Hotel, and will still retain the old name. Besides the bar and tho adjoining bar parlours and lounge, there are about 50 rooms, all of which, owing to the prominence of the site and their arrangement in planning, havo a fine view either of the Sound or the surrounding country. Mr. J. M. Dawson, of Wellington, is the architect, and Messrs. G. A. Smith and Co., of Picton, aro the builders.
