THE END OF THE SESSION, Tho House met at 2.80 p.m. Mr. SPEAKER made an announcement to the effect that until the end of the session new business could be taken after 12.30 p.m. The Hon. W. F. MASSEY (Prime Minister) said although the practice was a usual one, he sincerely hoped that it would not be necessary for the Government to take advantago of it. SHOPS AND OFFICES ACT. The Hon. W., F. MASSEY gave notice to introduce an amendment to the Shops and Offices Act. GOVERNMENT LIFE INSURANCE. The Government Life Insurance Bill, in charge of the Hon. F. M. B. Fisher, was introduced and read a first time.
