DISFRANCHISING ELECTORATES.

Sir,—Kindly allow me short space to point out to member-! of Parliament thnt they should not disfranchise their constituents by refraining to vote -when important measures are under consideration. Tho. member for my constituency (City East, Auckland) lias not voted upon two of tho principal Bills brought before the House this session—the Public Service Bill and the Land Amendment Bill. Whatever tho Auckland City East electors may think of their member's independent attitude, they have no. desire to be left out in tho cold when important matters are being decided on. Thanking you in anticipation,—l nm, etc., AUCKLAND CITY EAST ELECTOR.
