THE CRYSTALATE CUP PIAY.

The heats in tho Alcock Crystalate Cup tournament drew a packed house last evening, arid a good display of billiards was witnessed. Mr. Fordham beat Mr. Godwin by 108. The winner showed nice form in a best effort of 3S. Godwin played pltiekily to stem defeat, arid made a lot of breaks under 20. Mr. F. Farrell beat Mr. E. W. Warren by 141 points, making breaksof 26,24, 22,22, 21, and 20. Warren played with very bad luck, the-balls running most unkindly. Though not making any double-figure breaks, he brought oft many good strokes. The heats for this evening are:—At 7.15, Mr. C. Asher v. Mr. J. Keys; and at 9 p.m.. Mr. A. Wakem v. Mr. n. Cairns. The semifinals and final games will be played off on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, October 29 and 30.
