. KAKORI EIFLE CLUB. The Karori ]iifle Club's championship matohes will commence on Saturday next. October 2G, at Trenlham. Jt will corapriso ten matches (two separate series of iiyo matches each). The list of trophies is as follows:— 'Championship Shield (to be held for one year), gold medal, and Tresident H. 3iar-, shall's trophy (£2 25.).; .second prize, dab iropby. £2 2?.: third, Mr. W. H. TiekVs trophy, £\ Is. Tirst series: First, Mr. J. T. Mills's trophy, .512 25.; second, My. ,1. Reed's trophy, £\ 10s.; third, Judge Kawson's trophv, -CI Is.; fourth, Sfr. IV. C. Gasf(iioino's. M Is.; fifth, Mr. A. Collins's, £1 Is.; sixth, Mr. N. WilJonjrbb.v's. £} 3s. At least two of these trophies to bo won by handicap men. The prizes in tho handicap aggregate are: First, Mr. C. C. (Mini's trophy (,£2 25.); second, tho club's trophy (£1 Is.). In the long-range aggregate, (wo trophies allotted, one for the highest, score "off tho gun," and the other for handicap men. In the Johnston Cup aggregate, .first prize is the Johnston Cup (outright); Mr. H. Plimmer's trophy Is.) will he awarded to tho leading competitor at the end of this season's shooting. Ammunition prizes for each match in tho championship series will he given as follow-.—First, 30 rounds; secoud. 20 rounds; handicap men, 20 rounds. 'Tossiblc" prizes in the matches in the championship series are: 300vds., 10s.; aOOvds., 10s.; GOOyds., 155.; 603 yds., 10.5.; 900 yds., £\ 10s.; 1000 yds., £2. No member may win moro than three individual trophies during the season.
