EASTBOURNE MURDER.

John Williams was remanded at Ea>:bourno on a charge of murdering Police Inspector Walls, who was (.hot while attempting to prevent a burglary. The evidence on which the charge is based is the discovery of a hat alleged to be Williams's, and nlsn of .1 revolver he wn.3 seen to bury on the beach, as well as his flight to London. The chief witness, Florence Seymour, with whom Williams cohabited, testifie.t thai on the night of the tragedy she carried a pnrcel containing a rojxi with a hook Williams quitted her for half an hour, and returned hulless. He bade her throw the parcel on the bench.
