SERVIAN ENGAGEMENTS.
TWO MAIN ARMIES APPROACHING. FIGHTING IN THE NORTH. Belgrade, October 22. King Peter of Servin and the headquarters staff have crossed the frontier. Patrols are approaching Kum.inovo, which lies about 15 miles from Uskub, where Zcki I'ashn has 10,000 Turkish, troops. It is rumoured that the men of the •Seventh Infantry Regiment were blown up by a contact mine at; Bujanovitz, and that mnny were injured. The Third Servian Army has advanced into Turkey along the plain of Kossovo, in Northern Albania. It is being opposed by 10,000 men, chiefly Amaiils (Albanians), together with ten companies of Nizams (regulars), and four batteries of artillery. There has been severe righting, extending from Raskn, on the southern frontier of Servin, 11£ miles north-north-east of Novi Bazar, to Velyagavo and the vicinity of Yeni Bazur. a. •■t.roniflj fortified Uwa

The Servian losses were heavy, while those of the Turks were great. .The Servians operating north captured blockhouses around Sienitza, in the valayet of Kossovo, 27 miles west-north-west of Novi Bazar. A number of Turkish positions around Kmnnnovo, a town in miles north-east by enst of Uskub, have been captured. A general attack on the town will begin today. ' Servinn troops are advancing towards Prishtina, the capital of the vilayet cf Kossovo. They are being strongly op-, posed. The Turkish defence of Teneshdol Pass is tenacious. The Hen-inns have captured the entrance to the Pass. THE TURKS ADVANCING. Salonika, October 22. Zeki Pasha, Turkish Commander in 'he Uskub district, with 100,000 troops end much artillery and many machine guns, is in the Kumanovo district, awaiting the Servians' advance. CAPTURE OF PODU.TEVO. London, October 22. The "Morning Post" Vienna correspondent states that the Servians captured tho Podujevo barracks, near Mitrovitza, losing 300 killed. The Turks lost. COO.
