FOR ST. MARK'S CHURCH FUNDS.
In St. Mark's Parish Magazine for November (published veMerday) the vicar (the Rev. C. ]•'. Askew) returns thanks tor the happy results of the recent sale o '„? r f ">' whicll • C2 °3 «et was secured. And now," continues tho letter, "I must inform parishionevs of another example of noble giving. Bank notes to tho total value of .£2OO have been sent to mo by an unknown donor who signs himself Strictly Anonymous." The money is allocated (by the donor) to various objects parochial and diocesan, and I lake tins opportunity of assuring the generous donor that his (or her) wishes will bo carried out. Tho following is the list of objects and amounts specified:— X s. d. In my September letter I wrote, 'Will the. people of St. Mark's Churc,li and parish respond? I believe they will.'"
