Perkins, the financier, has been examined by the Senate Committee, which is investigating the connection ot the trusts with the party campaign funds. Ho denied the existence of a huge fund to finance Mr. Roosevelt's pre-Convention campaign. Mr. Perkins added that the Harvester Trust and the Steel Trust, of both of which he was a director, had not contributed a single cent, towards Mr. Roosevelt's funds, ' I =====
