SUBDIVISION OF UGBROOKE ESTATE.
By advertisement in this issue Messrs. Dnlgety and Company, Ltd., announce that the subdivision sale of this wellknown property will take place in tho Town Hall. Blenheim, on Saturday, November 23, at 11 a.m. Tho estate is being cut up into 10 blocks, ranging; from ,'ilO to 1130 acres, and the auctioneers state that tho subdivision affords an opportunity seldom offered of acquiring first-class land within un easy distance of railway anil markets. The success attained l>y Mr. Vavasour both in connection with his sheep, and cereal and root crops, is on indication of the quality of the laud. Mr. Vavasour has been a succcssful exhibitor at. the principal shows. Seventy bushels of barley and eighty buSiiels of oat's to the aero have been grown, besides splendid crops of wheat and other cereals. The land also yields very line rent crops and it is' the opinion of experts that the land is admirably adopted lor gro'ving lucerne. The property is being conveniently subdivided, and is very well roadeil. The whole of the rountry is excellently watered.
