Jones, G—2, G—3. Indies' doubles, Jli?scs Jones and D. Gordon beat Mrs. I'ord and Miss AYilliams, the previous holders, 2—o, G—l, 7—5. Mixed doubles, A. B. Jones and Miss Gordon beat Wright and Mrs. Bealtie, G—3, G—l. A. Jones's play is considered (o render his selection for the Davis Cup team certain. Brookes the selector, was not present at the tournament, and Jones and Horace Dice will play J'or him when they are passing through Melbourne en route to West Australia.
