Mountain Princess led past the judge's box from Beverage, Royal Scotch, Lochano, and Jolly Beggar. Beverage then took the lead from Gillamatong, Jolly Beggar, Royal Scotch, Lochano,'Flavian, Captain White, Uncle Sam, Aurofodina, and jiudorus. With another furlong gone Uncle Matt and Gillamatong passed Uoyal Scotch. Then came Flnitli, Eric, Puringa, Uncle Sam, with Cisco las}. Three furlongs from home, Aurofonina took.charge from Jolly Beggar, Eric, Flavian, Royal Scotch, and Snndbath. Eric next ran into second place from Royal Scotch, Eudorus, Captain White, and Uncle Sam. Royal.. Scotch took charge at the distance, the next being Lady Medallist, Eudorus, and Uncle Sam. Rain fell in, tho morning, but only a light shower in the afternoon. The track was in fine order, and the racing throughout was interesting.
