The bullocks offered on behtilf of Mr. A. M'Lcod. .Glenrynoclt, and Mr. Farry M'Lcod, were also of good quality, but on the young side, making £? 17s. 6d. and £6 Kβ. respectively. Tho entry of sheep was confined to one hundred heavy fat shorn ewee, offered on behalf of Mr. W. J. Martin, which made 163. Forward bullocks, £7 10s. to £7 17s. 6d.. and £3 10s. to £9 for extra good bullocks; three-year steers, £6 15s. to £6 lie.; two-year steers, £5 to £5. ICe. A line of 57, including several on the small side, made £5. ADDINGTON STOCK SALE. (By Tolozraph —Press Association.] Clirlstchurch, October 16. At Artdington there were moderate entries of stock, and a fair attendance. Store sheep sold well at late rates. Fat cattle also showed no change in prices, rat lambs showed a marked recovery in prices, and the fat sheep sale opened at very ilrm rates. Pigs showed no change in The 'yarding of store sheep wae a. very small one, being, confined to a few pens. It included two or three pens of hoggets, a, few lots of ewes and lambs, and some email consignments of wethers. The attendance was not large, but the competition was 'sufficiently keen to enable all lines to be cleared at prices well up to late rates. Good ewe hoggets realised 19s. sd.;' wether hoggets, 17s. 7d.; hoggets of mixed sexes. 18s. 7d.; 6 and fullmouth ewce, in wool, with lambs, 13s. (all counted); shorn full-mouthed ewes, with lambs (all oounted), , 11s. 5d.; and s'lorn 2 and 4-tooth. wethers, 15s. Id. There were 78 prime lambs entered, and they sold under keen competition at prices e'qual to those rulini? about n iurtmuhl ago. Nino out of twelve lots brought 209. and over. The lainbs wore well grown. The range of prices wast MSs. to 245. 6d. for heaviest, and 17s. 3d. to 19s. for. lighter. There waa a moderate yarding of fat sheep, and apparently not quite as largo as last week. It .was chiefly composed of good quality half and crossbred wethers, and a larger proportion of shorn wet-here,' including several lots of merinos. Competition was keen, and prices were very firm. The range of prices was: Extra prime wethers, to 30s. 3d.; prime, 235. One hundred and eeventy-nine- fat cattle wore penned, a decrease of 80 compared with the previous week, and only 13 in excess of the entry of October 2. Taken all round, the quality was good. Bidding for all descriptions waa free, and clearance was made at prices on a nar with those ruling a week earlier, beef making .28s. 6d. to 365. per ICOlb., according to duality. Steers realised £7 10s. to £11 ite.; extra, to £15 17s. 6d.; heifers. £5 9s. to £9; extra, to £11 17s. 6d.; and cows, £12 6s. 6d. to £ip 6d. A fair number of f?toro cattle, principally useful sorts, came forward, but tho sale was a dragging one, the majority of the owners having placed a. reserve on their cattle above tho parity of cur"rent. rates. Dairy cows made £5 to £11 ss. The entry of fat pigs was only a medium one, and values showed Jtfttlc change from the previous week, although towards the close an easier feeling prevailed. Choppers. £3 10s. to £5 2s. 6d.; heavy baconers. ■£3 ss. to £3 15g. 6d.; and lighter sorts. £2 l?s. 6d. to £3, thp« prices being enual to 5Jd. per lb. Heavy porkers brought 4f-s. to 505.; and lighter sorts, 58s. to lh. (equivalent to 5Jd. to 5Jd. per lb.l.
