ST. JOHN AMBULANCE.
At tho invitation of the Wellington Division of St. John Ambnlanco Brigade members of the Nurses, Tramway, and l'etono Divisions attended at the Y.M.C.A. on Tuesday evening, when a lecture oil
"Poisons" of <i very instructive nature was delivered by Dr. Gibbs. At the conclusion of the loctnro, Mr. IT. 11. Seed, on Itehalf of the Wellington Division, presented Dr. Gibbs with an ink-stand as a mark of appreciation of tho intoresl; which Dr. Gibbs has tnken in tho division during tho winter. Medals donated by local (inns were presented to tlio best squad in tho winter competitions.
