HERETAUNGA BOATING CLUB.
The annual general meeting of tho Petone Hcrctaunga Boating Club was held in the' boat- house 'on Wednesday evening. Commodore Keii was 'in (he chair, and then was a good attendance. Tho report and balance-sheet were adopted. Officers for the ensuing year were.elected as follows: Commodore, Mr. M'Dougall; vice-commo-dore, Mr. Brown; rear-commodore, Mr. Head (senr.)j secretary, Mr. A. M'Donnld; treasurer, Mr. Bittle; assistant-secre-tary, Mr. Bird; trustees, Messrs, Ryan, Itowe, and Jenkins; auditors, Messrs. Taylor and Beddingfield; committee, Messrs. Bird, Edmunds, Taylor (2), Jenkins, and Ryan. Six new members were elected. Mr. D. Koir," commodore tendered his resignation as an officer. He was made tils Vecipient'of a silver spirit kettle by members, in recognition of his valuablo services. Mr. Koir has been an officer of ■the club since its inception in 190".
