The Anglican Bishop of Wellington (Dr Sprotr) laid the foundation stone of the new Anglican Church hero 'to-day in tlie presence of a largo gathering of clergy phrishioners, and others. The- building' which, cost between JCGOOO ami -C7ooo,'''is being erected in brick bv Messrs. Peter Graham and Sons, of Christchurch. It is expected to be eomplotod before Cliristnins.
