FIRES IN FRANCE.
By Telceraph—Press Association-Copyright Paris, October 10. A firo destroyed an asylum for old men at Quimper, in tho Department of Finistere. Five inmates were incinerated. Warehouses at Dunkirk, containing saltpetre, and covering an area of 11,000 square yards, were destroyed by fire. Tho damage is estimated at ,£BO,OOO.
