THE INQUEST AT LEVIN. (By Telegraph.—l'rcss Association.! Levin, October, 14, An inquest on tho body found at Wniolianga on Saturday was held lost night, i [\ V ' w " ,,ossc s identified nrticles and clothing found with the remains as being those of Stanley Beattie, tho man missing from Manakau for some time. Constablo Sathorley, in addition to identifying tho clothing as Beattie's, said the very long arms and legs of tho bodv found resembled Beattie's build. Explaining how it came to pass that a "Missing l'l'iends ' notieo had been circulated by tho police, to the effect that BeSttie had been seen alivo in Sydney, the constablo deposed that a man named Bert Walker enmo to him some weeks ago and stated that he had seen Beattie in Sydney, and rot dinner for him. the Coroner's verdict was "found dead."
