Dunedln, October 14. The band contest began this mormnfr. The Hth Regimental Band (Hilton) did not participate. Three doubtful starters are Berry's Private Band (Christchurch), Timnrn tiarrison, and Invorcargill Garrison. Tho 10th Regimental Band comes from Oamaru to-morrow.
